Magnus Gunnarsson is born and raised in Iceland but moved to Los Angeles to follow his musical career. He studied Music Production in Hollywood where he excelled and graduated with the highest honors.
Magnus has had the opportunity to work with some very talented people in the music industry in Los Angeles. He produces and writes music in multiple genres, both with inspiration from his Icelandic roots as well as from modern pop music.
Magnus currently has over 550.000+ monthly listeners on Spotify and has accumulated over 7 million streams only in 2022. Magnus released an Alternative/Indie album "No Place Like Home" in 2018. The album was released under his name Magnus Gunnarsson. Songs from the album were played on Icelandic national radio stations and his track "Summer Nights" reached the top charts on Icelandic national radio station "Ras 2".
Magnus is currently collaborating with LA based artists and working on his own music under his name "Magnus Gunn". His main focus is to write melodic and easy on the ear songs such as his latest release "Ocean".
Magnus also releases Lofi music under the alias "MagFi". His music has been featured on some of the largest Lofi Spotify Editorial playlists within the genre and currently has over 200.000+ monthly listeners on Spotify.
